A Simple Thank You

I wanted to take this time to say thank you to everyone who has believed in me thus far. Thank you to my friends and family who pushed me in this direction, not previously knowing that this is what I was meant to do. Thank you to my clients, especially my first paying clients - you have endorsed me with so much fulfillment in life. Without you, especially, I don't think I would have continued this destined journey. You have been able to validate that what I experience and what I see, feel and hear are not imaginary. You have pushed me further to my purpose and closer to God. I've always trusted Him and His plan for me, but somehow I needed reassurance.

I've done countless unpaid readings previously, and in all honesty, I didn't think I'd be pursuing this type of work on a paying scale if you had asked me in 2018 (when I had gotten my Mediumship certificate). I attended that class none other than to learn how to deal with the fear that I instilled in myself revolving around this gift. I had crippling anxiety and I never slept. The night always feared me; I was afraid of dying in my sleep, mostly, but I would often refer to spirits as things that are hidden in the dark. After my Mediumship certificate, I've learned that spirits do not live in the dark: they live on in the light. They are purposeful and wonderful souls that often just want their loved ones to know that they're ok and proud. Sometimes I will have random spirits come to me who don't really belong anywhere, and sometimes I will get random visions of those around me if they need to be warned. I'm still learning how to deal with these scenarios and what the most appropriate thing to do is. But like all else, I will learn and persevere.

To end this short post, I just want to thank all of my new and existing clients. There are days where I continuously doubt myself and my purpose, even with the wonderful exceptions that I have just mentioned. You really don't realize how your validations fulfill me, no matter how small they might be. Thank you for trusting me with your soul. Thank you for trusting me with your departed loved ones. I do what I do because of you. It is not easy, let me clarify. It takes endless amounts of energy out of me; sometimes I need a full day to recuperate from the spirit I had just met. But beyond the little things, thank you.
